I have come to realize that with Nanook I have to treat him like my teen daughter..."pick your battles." Trying to keep him off the furniture would be a life long battle. So yes, in a way...you statement is 100% currect LOL
I am not fond of him being on the top of the chair, he didn't know I took that picture and right after I did he jumped down and looked at me like "what".

For the first month or so that I had storm he lived in the bathroom while I was at work, at some point he ripped up the linoleum so I got him a crate. Anyway he picked the shower as his favorite spot, so now every time I open the bathroom door he makes a mad dash for the shower...........and just sits there.............which is really creepy.

LOL..I wish I could get Nanook anywhere near the shower! He hates bath time and if I even make a gesture that he needs to head that way he runs outside!

Aurora has her favorite spot on the couch, and I just let her have it. I figure as long as she isn't chewing on anything it's not that big of a deal. I've definitely learned to pick battles myself. lol

Does he want to shower!? Link jumps in every day and he wants the water on. If you don't want him in there and he hates water, then you hit the jackpot!

I picked my battles too...once Karli realized she could jump on the couch she did it all the time. We got her a doggie bed that sits next to my hubby's laptop, but she only uses it occassionaly. Most of the time, she's on the couch with me.

I think he looks quite comfy in that chair lol. Does he share?

The shower thing is awesome!

Sky and Carter aren't allowed on one of my couches. But every now and then Sky will want to cuddle with me while I'm on the forbidden couch. So gets half on the couch, snuggles up, but keeps her back legs on the floor. She thinks she found a loophole!

Oh he shares. If you sit in the chair he will jump up to share it with you but he makes it so uncomfortable that the who ever was there just moves.

Storm loves to perch like that on the back of our love seat and watch the rabbits and quail in the yard. I'm sure he'd love to eat them even more.

Balon perches on top of the sofa so he can peek at the neighbors next door, it's really creepy of him but I cannot stop him lol. He just stands there with just his head sticking out of the vertical blinds lol. The neighbors laugh about it, they even took his picture lol.
