2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

My dog has diarrhea after worm pill? Empty
PostSubject: My dog has diarrhea after worm pill?   My dog has diarrhea after worm pill? EmptySat Jul 06, 2013 2:29 pm

We've adopted him yesterday, he's 3 years old husky/malamute mix (and he also got worming pill). When I took him for a walk he had normal stool, but after that he had diarrhea twice. In the evening I gave him rice and minced beef with some carrot and he had diarrhea at like 4am. When I gave him another walk this morning, he just peed.
After that he ate some dry food and minced beef with rice again - his stool was hard but after that, he had diarrhea again.

Otherwise he's still a happy go lucky dog. I don't know what to do, I don't see any worms in his stool, but he's showing signs of having them and i'm really worried? :/

Try giving him straight rice and some boiled chicken with no seasoning or salt.. or others have used scrambled eggs with veggies with no salt. Also, greek plain yogurt or pumpkin filling out of the can can help settle a husky tummy. I used to mix yogurt into Dragon's food every once in awhile to keep his stool regular and sometimes as a treat (he loves the stuff) so I would try one or two of those options. Just don't do too much because too much food can cause diarrhea. If you're feeding him more than 2 cups a meal that could be the cause of his irregular bowel movements.
