Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

I stumble across this forum while googling info on my male, Max.
I ended up spending about 2 hours reading through the threads & here we are!wave  I enjoyed the various opinions/experiences without the judgemental attitude.
I also have a female, Nanuk. They are brother & sister. I accompanied my son to pick up his pup, who is surprised that we came home with 2?!? LOL They were born 7/17/2013, we brought them home at 8 weeks & OH MY how they have grown!!

She was bigger than he then, but he appears to be going through a growth spurt & is a bit "leggier" than she now.

Today, sitting on command, on their very bestest behavior Smile
Max has the red collar & Nanuk the black. We originally had to make holes for them to fit, Going out today to get them new as they are on the very last one already!!

Very cute pups! Your preaching to the choir about keeping the white white. I had a completely black and black and tan dog when I got all white dog. Oh my, now I realize my black dogs must have been so dirty over the years.

i hear ya! Gus is all white, except for some red on his ears (and some coming in on the top of his head haha). And his coat blowing PLUS my black winter wool coat?? It's a losing battle that i've stopped trying to fight. No amount of sticky paper can save it now.

techigirl78...I had replied earlier, Lord only knows where in cyberspace, or perhaps even somewhere on this forum it has ended up!! LOL It bears retyping tho...God Bless You!! I can't imagine having an all white husky..or anything else for that matter! I am just a tad to OCD for that.

Welcome wave Your puppies are beautiful! They must keep you super busy! I gave up trying to keep my girls legs white...I'm pretty sure they prefer them brown!
