PostSubject: A Husky Obsession...   A Husky Obsession... EmptyFri Dec 19, 2014 10:52 pm

A few photos first of my first Husky, Buster, and my 2nd Husky, Stoli. Then on to Stanislav and Cody in a 2nd post.

My oldest son with Buster. Nathan was about 3 or 4 here, and Buster about 6. I adopted him from my mom because she lost her house in the foreclosure market after her job was lost, etc. So I already knew him and loved his personality, and he LOVED my kids. Plus he had been adopted by my mom (thru a rescue) at the same time my son was born and I was at my mom's a lot since she lived only a few blocks away. He is the one that hooked me on Huskies. Even my son's dad (we were married at the time) recalls how much he loved Buster and how special he was. Sadly I don't have many photos of him as back then the cell-phone cameras weren't that great.

Stoli. The amazing Stolichnaya Konstantin. My first Husky pup and he was really a mama's boy. He was my right-hand pup. I miss him SO much every day.

One of my favorite pics of him with my kids.

Stoli enjoying the convertible! We had one for about 2 years before we bought the farm and had to trade it for the truck. Stoli stayed in the car at all times although obviously with huskies, never fully trust them so we'd put his leash thru the seatbelt and buckled it. He loved the convertible rides.

Stoli's best friend was our housecat Simon. They had a very special relationship. Simon liked to play rough so Stoli was the perfect friend for him. I can tell Simon misses his buddy.

I got this done just this past Sunday by a friend who is a tat artist. He knew Stoli pretty well and it was hard for him to do this but he wanted to.

Our new babies.
The little baby pics

Cody Konstantin "Cody"

Pic the breeder sent me just before we left for our trip. They looked like little polar bears!

In the car on the ride home. Stani is the one closest to me. Cody is the more shy one.

Of course they fell asleep...
A Husky Obsession... 20141111

Cody crashed on the couch after a long car ride home. They had never been in a car before and the whole experience of changing homes and new parents was exhausting.

Such handsome pups! I gasped when I saw Stoli's pic - he looks so much like Ami in the eyes (without all the hair Razz )

I love AMi's eyes too... with his fur length, he looks so much more exotic.

I made this a few days after he died. This song came on the radio while I was out fixing a fence with my truck and I broke down right there and didn't move for a long time and I stopped what I was doing and came in to do this video.

Ok, the vid made my eyes tear up...I lost both my Huskies last year, 2 wks apart, and way too young so I know what you are feeling very well. Beautiful beautiful dogs, and I LOVE the tat you had done. Like you, I got two more...they help for sure, but Stoli will always be a part of you and with you.

Your new pups are gorgeous as well!!!
