So kobe is 23 months old, my problem with him is he keeps eating the pot soil from my plants that i have inside my home. No matter how many times i tell him no he goes and eats some. He's a very good boy and doesn't get into trouble but is it safe for him to eat the soil?

depends on the soil you have does it come with fertilizer and all in it? i would say that's not safe. eating potted soil is much worse then just dirt in the back yard that is not treated. our first summer with S&J i learned i could not have potted plants on the deck at ground level, i came down one morning and my plants were all over the back yard, replanted, replaced in the back yard... for my house plants they are all on counters or tall plant stands and they seem to leave those alone. can you move the plants to a safe place, a room with a door? _________________

Yup - moving them out of reach is a good idea - our kitty, one hot summer, kept drinking the water in the plants saucers (stupid cat will not drink plain water - I have to doctor it ). She ended up with cluster seizures, most likely from the electrolite imbalance from all the minerals in the fertilizer. I dump all my saucers now, even in hot weather, no more seizures since then (4 years ago).

| A lot of plant soil has cocoa mulch (read: chocolate!) which is VERY appealing and very bad for the dogs. Check your list of ingredients and see if that's the problem.
Check this Google Search to get an idea of how common it is.

I'm honestly really surprised that no one has had any comment on this .... it would seem unusual - at least it did to me when I first found out. _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford .
