Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Usually during down time and relaxation bandit will hang out on the couch with me. Recently she has found New independence and likes to sit on the opposite side of the room. I guess she is growing up and learning she doesn't have to be near me 24/7. Where do your dogs like to hang out? |

| Right now, he's stretched out in the grass/mud behind the adirondack chairs about 25 ft from the kitchen window. He can see us, hear us but he's not too close. Sometime around 11:30 to midnight, he will ring the bell, come in an want to be in the chair in the sunroom while we watch a movie in the family room. Close enough, but...not too close. And boy, does he give me a look if I dare to sit on the edge of his chair |

| Hahahahhaa I don't trust her enough to be in the backyard even if it is fenced in. She'd dig out I bet. She gives me a bad look if I try to touch her while she is over there. Or if I walk near her She gives me a dirty look. She really wants to be alone when She is tired! |

| Outside Mishka loves to hang out on our hot tub.
Inside he usually is on our bed or in his corner in the kitchen. _________________ |

| Man, that all really depends on a lot of things; Avalanche is, at the moment, right beside my chair and that seems to be his favourite spot. When I crash at night, again he's right beside my bed - that's a regular spot for him at night. He's not a velcro dog though, he'll go outside and sunbathe or watch the rabbits or play with his jolly ball.
Sasha is a lot more independent. Generally she's lounging in the door between the living room and the kitchen. _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| If he had a choice he'd love to hang out outside all day but then there would also probably be about a million holes. So when we're not outside with him his favorite place is up in our living room bay window so he can watch squirrels. |

| Yukon will hang out wherever there's food. But not his healthy food that I've poured a lot of time and research into making sure it was optimal for his digestive system. No, he has to hang around people food while begging non-stop. Bonus points if said food is made out of chocolate or grapes. |
