2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Hello! I'm from the Philippines and this is my 1st time to own a Siberian Husky.

I just got my 2 1/2 month old husky (female) earlier today. And for the last 12hours since I got her, she has pooped 6 times already. Is this normal? If not, could it be because I'm feeding her a different brand of dog food, compared to what the seller gave her?

There's a lot going on for a new puppy. Being taken away from her momma and litter mates will make her tummy upset. And to make matters worse changing her food, and not slowly transitioning will also make for an upset tummy. Lastly overfeeding and/or feeding a food that is not agreeable will upset tummy. Many huskies have sensitive tummies. Some just do not do well on certain dog foods. Some huskies have tummies made of steel and others don't. I would try adding her old food and slowly transition to the new food, also waiting a few days so she adjusts to her new life. Also, many huskies do not do well with grain inclusive foods, so if the breeder had her on a grain fee and you switched to a food with grain, that may be the problem, as well. Good luck, we love pics here so when you can we would love to see your new girl, and welcome to the forum!!

Thanks Miya for sharing your knowledge. I really appreciate it.

I guess, it would be wise for me to call the breeder and ask what he gave her. I will also look for dog food that does not have grain in it.
