 | Subject: Moving his food bowl? Mon Nov 02, 2015 7:43 pm | |
| My husky has recently developed a new fascination with moving his food bowl from its set place in the kitchen to various spots in the house to eat. The problem is he spills it all over the place when he moves it. Has anyone else gone through this? Should I get a different type of feeding device that he can't move? Any recommendations in that area? |

| Wow so he's having fun with his bowl lol And well my boy used to move his bowl slightly everytime he ate, so I got him a nice heavy ceramic bowl that I discovered at petsmart. It's not really heavy but it has just enough weight that he doesn't move it as he eats. So maybe try looking in to a ceramic bowl for Mr. Doom |

| Huskies have the funniest eating habits. Only tangentially related to the post: Luna would sometimes refuse to eat the kibble from her bowl but would eat the kibble that spills on the floor. We then tried spilling the kibble from her bowl on purpose. She ate it all. She bounced back to normal by the next meal. |

| I was gonna go look at ceramic bowls, hopefully I can find something with a very rounded edge that he can't bite down on and pick up like he does with his current metal bowl.
And yeah, despite making a mess it's pretty funny when he comes around the corner with a full bowl of food in his mouth and plops it down in the living room to eat, haha. |

| Here is Mylo's food and water station. I like how the edge of the ceramic bowl is outward. Good grip when picking up as I suppose it could prevent Mr. Doom from moving it around lol (It's already 10pm over here and Mylo is in deep sleep so the water bowl being on low tank is okay, jug want to clarify lol) And awwww I would love to see Mr. Doom doing that lol Here's the link to the ceramic bowl, it's the 1qt size. I think it's great for the price and cool design. http://m.petsmart.com/h5/hub?id=dog%2Fbowls-feeders%2Ftop-paw-designer-dog-bowl-zid36-6320%2Fcat-36-catid-100010%3Fvar_id%3D36-6320 |
