Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Virginia Breeders on SHCA Empty
PostSubject: Virginia Breeders on SHCA   Virginia Breeders on SHCA EmptyFri Sep 25, 2015 12:43 pm

Hey everyone, my wife and I are planning to finally add a new Siberian to our family. I looked at the SHCA website for Virginia, and there are two breeders listed, but both do not have a lot of information anywhere on the internet.

Has anyone ever worked with Fleur de Lis (Ronald Gagne and Terri Rendon) or Krystal Wolf (Anne Hennessey and Mac Thompson).

I just want to get some input if anyone has talked with them before etc. Otherwise we are looking at Jaleraran Siberians in Pennsylvania as a possible place. We are in no rush to find a puppy, we want to wait until we find the right place and puppy.

Thanks for any input!

I have been very fond of Jalerran. I just enjoy their stance on the health of their dogs and how buying a puppy is not like going through a McDonald's drive through. Lol.

Never heard of the two from Virginia but that doesn't mean much. Some just don't have an online presence.

Thanks! Yeah I really like Jalerran. I am going to check out the ones in VA, but I will be comparing them to Jalerran.

we opted to go with Jalerran. I completely agree with your reasons for loving them. We are picking up our handsome red and white male next weekend!

If you're willing to go to PA, Snowcrest Siberians is wonderful. A very small breeder who takes real pride int heir dogs--their pups are magnificent

Many responsible breeders are still in the mindset of not advertising much if at all. If you have questions, contact them. A responsible breeder will appreciate a responsible owner seeking more information Smile

I'm super late to this thread but I'm glad you went with Jalerran.  My girl came from them and she's wonderful!  Yes, they don't breed for certain coat and eye colors but for the things they should breed for like health and temperament.

Any pictures or updates on the new pup?  Very Happy
