2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Izzy has been here for over a week now and though it had been touch and go with the other dogs, we have gotten to know each other and I absolutely love her...she is a cutie, she listens really well for such a young dog (for now) and she seems to be enjoying her new surroundings...

but she's not eating very much...some days not at all...she is on a good quality dog food (she was on cheap kibbles before I got her) I'm not too worried though...just adapting I guess...should I try feeding her something else or should I just stick with it for awhile longer?

Karine, Izzy is one great looking dog - though I can't say much for the snow around her.

You say that she's not eating much - which suggests that she is eating when she gets hungry. My suggestion is to continue feeding her as you have been. If she doesn't eat it's either because she's still adjusting or she doesn't need / want as much as you're feeding her.

She's gone through a lot of changes - for her, a lot - and it's not uncommon for a dog moved to a new place to loose their appetite for a while. I'd say give her another week or so and not worry too much as long as she does eat something. Of course all bets are off if she starts to loose very much weight (a little is to be expected) and then I'd think about a vet visit, It's possible she picked up a bug in her travels.
