| Simon and I are moving Friday. Have to admit I am kind of freaking out about it. He is a really easy going dog so I am not super worried about him but I now don't have a job at the moment and will being going to school full time and living off my savings. It is my first time in 6 years without having a full time job and that is a little strange. I am just over all having general moving freak outs what if I miss something what if it's super warm and he uncomfortable. What if everyone is horrible? What if I am bad at school?
Just here stressing out. |

| I too hate moving, and I hate living on savings and generally not having the money coming in that I'm used to. My husband recently lost his job and we are living off my income now. It's a lot of pressure. Just gotta stay cool, do something fun every now and then to distract your mind, and make lists so you don't forget anything in the rush. I bet everyone isn't horrible. Surely there will be one person that is great and of course you get to come home at the end of the day to those sweet furry faces, so that is awesome. Don't think about being bad at school. Once you hit a rhythm I bet you do great. _________________ |

| Hey, I'm a human stress ball these days. We just completed a move from South Carolina to Alabama. Our house in SC was supposed to close last week and it still hasn't. We just put a contract on a new custom build in AL yesterday. We're living out of boxes in a rental for 9 months. Daughter just started Pre-K at home today (we homeschool) and she starts her new dance class today as well. Hubby has a new job and we left all our good friends back in SC. Stressed doesn't even begin to cover what I am right now...so I feel you! Take it a day at a time and try to accentuate the positive. Take time for yourself amidst all the craziness and just breathe.
Just this morning I felt myself getting sick over all the stress and I stopped and made myself list out everything that needs to be done today and that's all I'm going to worry about. Good luck to you! _________________ |

| Breathe, Elise....take the puppies for a walk. Breathe. One step at a time.
Moving is the pits. After our first move, we said "Never again" That didn't work, of course but its what we've said after each...
And going back to school at an "older" age...did that, also a shock to the system. My most tumultuous years. But you will survive. And most likely thrive.
With the 2 puppies, you have the best of nature's stress relievers - a good brisk walk does wonders to relieve stress...and stroking a pet is known to lower blood pressure.
And remember - you have many friends here and on FB.
I have full confidence in you!
And, Val - ugh...my heart is with you. One box at a time...
Jenn...didn't know about hubby. Hopefully, he'll find something new soon. |
