Maybe it's just me - probably is - but in the earlier photos, Luka has an almost feminine - okay, pretty - look to him. That shot with the sock, of course, prompts the question "Did he gather those?" No, of course not, if *he* had they'd all be separated.

Haha, he definitely did! His color has changed so much too since we brought him home! We went away for two weeks for our honeymoon and he went from being reddish grey to chocolate. It's been fun watching him grow up!

We keep finding teeth EVERYWHERE. Little guy doesn't stop, we've found them imbedded in his bed, in the carpet, stuck in Mias fur... We keep panicking cause he bores Mia and gets blood all p er her and we think it's her just to be like, nope, baby teeth. I'll be happy when he's done teething, poor thing.

They try to convince us they don't love each other. Lies I tell you.



Aaa and this just happened. He spent the last 2 nights in the kitchen watching me make this key lime cheesecake. Now he's devastated not sharing!

Original name I chose for Kohdi was Luka, I love that name, and it's meaning. Had a neighbor not named her dog that, shortly before I got Kohdi, there'd be another Luka on this forum, lol.

Haha, thanks guys! We got a set of springform pans from our wedding registry in June, so I was happy to get to use them. Key lime cheesecake... Yummmm.

That's actually our couch, which is even HARDER to get under, let alone get 2 huskies under there! I love that photo though, it shows just how big Lukas gotten...he looks the same size as Mia, if not slightly bigger! And he's only 6 months old, so he's not even completely filled out!


He's gonna be a monster.

Haha pretty much. Luckily our trainer has an older husky (or rather, her boyfriend brought his husky when they moved in together) so she's familiar with their stubbornness. She was like "well he's not doing x thing, but I know he knows because he's thinking about it..."

We also lost the last game of Simon says. Golden retriever beat us out. He still got a cow ear for being a sweetie tho. We said he won the stubborn award.

LOL I dunno about "well".
I mean. He knows he's supposed to follow commands... And he doesn't pull on leash as bad as he used to. So, I guess that's successful? And everyone in class thought it was super cute when he would talk back so there's that!

Luka finally got a good rain jacket, and a new winter coat!

Husband thinks I'm crazy to buy the winter jacket, but our first winter in Ohio we had -20 degrees, and Mia was definitely uncomfortable. PLUS HES HANDSOME! Lookit that heartbreaker! Also featuring blurry Mia wearing his new rain coat (she got one in pink but the husband only opened the blue one for whatever reason).





Also: he's gotten so big! He's almost as tall as I am! Granted in only 5'2" but still! My little Luka in a big world isn't so little anymore.

I can't even imagine -20 temps, pretty sure my two with all their fluff would be uncomfortable too, haha. Very cool jacket, looks great on him!
