Winter is just rough for trying to get enough exercise in when the days are so short! I feel so bad when she plops her head in my lap and lets out a big ol' sigh to tell me she is bored. Any suggestions for indoor mental games that I can play with Suka? I saw some dog games on Amazon but I thought I would ask the experts before buying anything. Thanks everyone!

I'm no expert but I just bought a Kong Wobbler recently our 5 month old absolutely loves trying to get the food out - it is recommended that it's used with supervision only as she does try to chew the top sometimes haha. I've also purchased a bob-a-lot by starmark so will see what this is like when it arrives. We also play tug of war in the living room and this can last for a very long time and keep her entertained. I'm sure the others will have other ideas as well!

We get Lucy those HUGE rawhide sticks, that keeps her busy and content since they love to chew. Also, tug of war and what not.

I like to turn meal time into a game. Instead of just throwing the food into a bowl, I'll leave piles in various locations. It engages a lot of senses and forces some activity. If you have enough space, you could try dog agility stuff. Get a set of indoor flags, tunnels, and jump bars. Set them up in an open area of your house and train him to run the agility course.

i usually use treat ball toys, that he as to roll get his food out. or just hide treats around the house for him to use his nose to find them.
