| Hello to everyone!
I am soon to be a husky parent and am curious if anyone knows of any local BAY AREA RAW FOOD VENDORS that i don't need to go online to order. I'm looking for someone who i can pick up from that can provide all natural raw food consistently. Any advice helps! |

| Are you looking to do diy raw or looking for premade grinds? San Francisco Raw has a store location I believe you can go to in person. If interested in doing diy you may try Fremont BARF Co-op for better pricing. They have a site with some pricing I think. You may also look to see if Creston Valley Meats are still around. Most of these places have websites where you can order but you can probably do call-in orders as well. I don't know which for sure have walk-in stores. Check with local butchers too as some are starting to produce grinds for dogs as well. Just make sure when going that route that the butcher actually understands how raw feeding works and is balancing everything properly. |

| DIY= Do it Yourself? if that's the case there will be days where i just feed her human grade raw ground beef, but i am looking for premade grinds. I've been to a couple sites- MyOllie, Darwins, InstinctPet, etc, but i prefer to keep it local most definitely. I live in the East bay Area, Walnut Creek side, so i'd like to find something more towards this way. The city i can take a drive to and check out what they have. Also Fremont isn't too far assuming their location is in Fremont. A buddy of mine told me to check out local butchers as well. I will definitely look into the ones you've referred. Thank you! |

| Doing it yourself will save a ton of money usually depending on what deals you can source but you will need to source organ meats which can sometimes be difficult in order to fill you 80-10-5-5 requirements for balanced. hopefully one or all of those places will have what you need. San Francisco Raw I have heard is high but Crest Valley has been said to have pretty reasonable prices. Good luck! |
