I couldn't get the video to play. Was it her first day? If they day care id good, they'll group her with similar personality/avtivity level dogs. The dogs work it out. Enzo has gone twice now and he loves it. (He was a little scared at first)

I couldn't get it to play either, even after moving the syntax around to what should work. First day can entail many emotions for a dog. Usually it entails a lot of excitement that can be seen by running, bouncing, or raising the hackles. Hackles up doesn't necessarily mean a dog is scared or angry, just that they are worked up. Tail down and tucked is usually fear or insecurity. A good doggy daycare that gets in huskies and are used to working with many breeds will usually tell you if they see any behaviors that are off putting or suggest that your dog is uncomfortable or making other dogs uncomfortable in any way.

Tail is down and she drops low and tries to turn away when a dog comes up. Seems unsure of them. Not comfortable but at least not scared enough to lash out and fight. Running in this case is likely to burn off some nervous energy and get the other two to give her a little space. It is something you will want to monitor as different dogs come into the daycare. The two that were there were pretty good at not pushing her too much. Chase her but didn't nip or really try to catch her. A real dominant dog that likes to bully could give her trouble. She just needs to work on her confidence. It's not uncommon for dogs that haven't had a lot of exposure to other dogs their own size to be nervous of them. Dogs tend to go two ways with new things. They face it head on with no sense of self preservation and a world of curiosity or they play it safe until they know more. Kinda like little kids. As long as the daycare workers are on their game and know the dogs that are coming in so they can keep things under control with dogs that may take her discomfort as an invitation to pick on her, she should come around in time.

To me she looks thrilled with the chase. Ami loves to entice dogs into chasing him and it looks just like this...huge arcs taking up the whole space, running with joy and abandon.

I think she's playing too. The video is not too clear but it looks as is she entices, play bows and then takes off. Mars Plays that way.

To me it looks like the other dogs are making her nervous and the running is over stimulation, and thats how its coming out. Its good to break up chase play every once in a while, to let them settle. Dogs can easily get too worked up and start going into aggression if you don't. Arousal leads to aggression, it's important to monitor play especially if you have a pup that is a little nervous. When the black dog joins in he is splitting the two of them to make the play settle because it is getting to aroused. If he was just joining in he would have just joined in the chase, but he was targeting the white and getting between the white dog and Bella.
