Where are you located so that we can make sure that any recommended food will actually be available to you? What we have here in the US is different than in the UK or middle east or south america. In general though you need to look for something that is low carb and those carbs should be low glycemic, so look for foods that used Legumes as their base carb. Avoid foods that use white potato and corn as their carb source. Go high protein with real meat. Knowing your budget would help too and if the vet gave any dietary recommendations based on his observation of this particular diabetic case. Did the vet do all the test to verify that it was diabetes and not just assume it's diabetes? And lastly, have you started insulin therapy yet?

Of that list Nutrisca and the Whole Earth Farms are the foods I would lean toward. While they list high fat as cons many huskies do much better with a good amount of fat in their diet. Good luck. Hope everything works out great and you find what works for your pup.
