Does anyone elses Huskys throw up fur occasionally? Especially in the heat? Kale has thrown up fur twice this week. He has a vet appt on Thursday for his annual exam and I'm going to mention it. Just wondering if it is normal. My mom was wondering if we could give him "catlax" (which is a vaseline type substance that we give our cats for hairballs).

Bella threw up a clump of..hair? Maybe fur? earlier last week. but hasn't done any of that since. Maybe he just ate some of it playing with a toy and decided he didn't like the taste of himself?

I certainly hope so Smile. I don't want Mr. Kale-fluffybutt having an upset tummy!

I hope his exam goes well Smile

You know when I took Belle to get spayed/chipped (they couldn't do the spay) so she got the full giant, thick needle without being put under. She didn't scream at all or really mind it.

It wasn't until I got home that I bore the battle scars of a Husky who was unhappy about getting chipped...

They are pretty scary. Sad I'm sure he'll do fine! If Bella did he will!

Also. I have a picture to show you on my scrapbook here in a few minutes...because she's just terrorizing me Neutral

We got Kody already microchiped, but need to take Mya to get it. I don't think she's going to be a happy camper about it either!

They chipped Appa while he was knocked out for the neuter. Although, I don't know what his reaction would have been. His vaccinations I don't think he even knows are happening, but you spray him with some water for a bath and LOOK OUT! He FREAKS. Same with the HV Dryer. Bath time is not a fun time with Appa. My ears hurt by the end of it.

No idea about the thrown up fur. Appa steals clumps of his fur as we brush him, and it's never come back up...

I swear that Kody thinks he's a fur vacuum..lol! He does the same while brushing him. OR if I'm sweeping the floor he'll sneak up and grab a huge clump of hair and eat it! I don't see it come up ever though....

Willow doesn't like her fur but she sure thinks the kitty's fur is tasty. I have never seen her throw it up. You will have to let us know what the doc says about it.
