My girls eat EVO Turkey and Chicken and I was thinking about adding raw two to three times a week for dinner. I keep reading about mixing THK and raw and I wanted to see if I could do the same with EVO. They do really good with EVO but I would like to treat them to raw chicken thighs and veggies several times a week. Thanks for the ideas. I really love this group!

Kibble and raw have different digestion rates. THK is sort of your inbetween. I'ved used THK to feed a partial raw diet and with their kibble without issue. However, I do believe there are others here on the forum that has fed kibble with raw without issue also.

If you want to add in raw a couple of times a week, then maybe do raw one day, and kibble another day instead of feeding raw and kibble in the same day or same meal

Cheyenne has been eating raw wings with her dinner for as long as I can remember. No problems, stool is good.

I just can't fathom how THK is fine to feed with raw but kibble supposedly "isn't" THK isn't raw, it's cooked.

If you want to add some raw in there you can always do a chicken leg quarter for breakfast a few times a week. I feel it's more beneficial to feed raw in the morning (if re splitting raw and kibble) as its more readily available for energy.

Thanks, Kristina! The raw feeding in the morning sounds great. I'm definitely going to try it this weekend. See ya tomorrow!
