Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| Saw this guy while I was browsing Craigslist, even though I know I really shouldn't. When I saw the listing said he was on his 3rd family I felt just terrible. Poor guys been passed around a lot it seems. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pet/4524022734.html _________________ |

| I might post a few of these. I am keeping my options open, looking for another husky. I really want to go through a rescue shelter, but in my opinion, this is still rescuing.... This one made me sad. pffft too busy with work http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/for/4612197289.html |

http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/for/4612197289.html I think what saddened me the most was the big "Price Dropped" label they put on the ad. They've been sitting on the merchandise too long, gotta move it along at a discount. _________________ |

| One place I look for Husky's is Rescue Me! or any other breed for that matter.
My biggest problem is that there are so many Huskies in rescue that I couldn't take them all, even if I could drive across Texas to get them. |

I think what saddened me the most was the big "Price Dropped" label they put on the ad. They've been sitting on the merchandise too long, gotta move it along at a discount. I know right!? ughhhh.... people disappoint me so much. This is why I want to get a rescue this time. Give a fur baby a home that they never have to leave, unless the situation actually is a real reason. Like in home family death (god forbid) or something of that caliber. I know that is blunt, but that is one of the only times when I see someone getting rid of an animal that I don't get upset. However the most I see are the, "I don't have time." - "The landlord won't let me."- "I am moving somewhere too hot." - "I am having a baby soon." -(The baby one can be understandable, depending on the dogs demeanor, but with a husky I haven't really ever heard of too many baby/husky related problems ever.) It isn't hard to reevaluate your situation to make sure you can have time/live somewhere with/ train things with your fur kid. /rant off sorry lol |

| I'm unsure why this pisses me off quite as much as it does, but these people are advertising their litters from their pets, and they have come up with such an original name "Eight Below Husky Ranch."
