| an extension from my thread from last year.. [ 2011 gardening thread] I took a few pics for some updates man have my plants grown!! i think i need to move both of my lavender plants...i should have thought that through better when i planted them. still have a lot of cleaning up to do with leaves and dead plant stuff. but the flowers are pretty in the back along the vinyl siding we are putting in a raised herb garden. can't wait i also plan on doing some container tomatoes clematis coming back up a pansy that came up out of no where last fall phlox forgot what this is called periwinkle growing nicely that i transplanted from my parents yard last year. hoping to have it cover that whole side of the garden bed so i dont have to worry about mulching. honeysuckle i would love to take down the pussywillow tree next to the fence at some point. and i think i'm just going to cover this whole area in gravel or pavement when i redo my driveway at some point. so i am not sure i really intend on doing anything else with this area overgrown lavender not sure what else i plan on doing with these beds maybe a bunch of bulbs and more phlox? my weeping cherry in full bloom. lots more blooms this year! love this tree my yard is slowly coming along. its hard to keep weeds out when thats what makes up your neighbor's "grass" on both sides. i think by next year the front yard will really be looking nice stargazer lillies coming up tree i planted today. a bonfire patio peach. its supposed to get about 5 feet tall and wide what the leaves will look like.

| Has anyone else noticed that it says "Threat" instead of "Thread" Not laughing at you, Shannon! You guys make me sooo jealous! I can't wait to start gardening! I love plants, but if they're outside they drown and if they're inside they get eaten lol. I'm just waiting till I get my own house to plan it out how I want! I love the weeping cherry tree and the bonfire patio peach tree! So beautiful! |

| No one noticed how "gardening" is spelled in the thread title either? I didn't want to point it out, you must have been having quite a day when you started the thread, Shannon. Yay for veggie gardens, this year I plan to do parsley, tomatoes, and peas. My parsley is still growing from the seeds I planted last spring. _________________ |
