2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Go/Now Dog Kibble????? Empty
PostSubject: Go/Now Dog Kibble?????   Go/Now Dog Kibble????? EmptyMon Aug 20, 2012 8:13 pm

Hi everyone! I used to feed Chubby TOTW, but when they had the recall, I had one of the bags that were being recalled & that got me a little upset - I threw it out & went "cold turkey" with Earthborn. Chubby did fine, then I decided to rotate his food with Go from Petcurean. He was actually picking out the Earthborn & just eating the Go. So now, I've been feeding Go & Now by Petcurean & he loves, loves, loves it.

I've noticed that he has started to shed alot, his coat is soft & shiny & his skin looks fine, but he is shedding alot. I think it's too early for him to be blowing his coat, so I'm a little confused.

Does anyone feed this food? Any problems? Thanks Smile

The Go! grain free is 5 star stuff according to:

The regular Go! kibble is 4 star so both are good quality goods. http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/go-natural-dog-food-dry/

Go! NOW is a good food. I don't feed it personally because it's not readily available to me, I prefer more meat in my dogs' food, and more importantly I don't think it is worth it's price tag.

If your dog is otherwise doing great on the food, I would hesitate to blame the food for the shedding. It could just be a coincidence. I'm not saying that it's not the food, but a lot of things could be to blame for the shedding.
