Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. These are our furry children, Dakota and Kobi. Dakota has been with my partner Mike for 20 years, he got Dakota when he was 2 (so Dakota is 22). He thinks he is the royal highness of the house. The two of them didnt get along very well at first but now they both share our pillows durring the day lol.

awwe cute! How does the cat get along with Kobi? Nikko and Yukon would be OK with cats I think, they just want to play, but it's the cats that usually freak out and start hissing at them.

When i got Kobi from his last owner, she had a cat that kobi would wrestle and play with and the cat actually enjoyed it. When he got to our house, we introduced him to Dakota and Dakota wanted nothing to do with him. Dakota has never really liked other animals lol. So when we introduced him to Dakota, the cat did his normal hiss and growl but then he smacked him (declawed front paws). It scared Kobi , so Kobi pee'd on my bed lol. Its only happened twice. But now Dakota, tolerates Kobi(you know how cats are lol), They sleep on our pillows and Kobi knows not to play with him lol. Im think if you get a young cat, and let the cat grow up around them they might get along ok. I would probably go for one that has alot of energy as to keep up with your husky's.Also it might take a week or so for the cat to warm up to the dogs. Thats about how long it took for Dakota, but hes old and stubborn lol

Well, if he is 20 years old then he deserves to be king of the castle LOL! That's pretty amazing for a cat. Nikko is so hyper that cats usually don't tolerate him.
