Apparently my 3 yr old daughter left a crayon where Lucian was able to get to it. I found little bits of the wrapper on the floor, but the rest of it I'm assuming he ate. Should I be worried about it, or just keep an eye on him and wait for pink poop?

Crayons are non- toxic. Just keep an eye on him.

I figured as much. He eats darn near anything he can get in his mouth. So I'm used to keeping an eye on his bowel movements, lol. Thanks.

My toddler has eaten a few. It should be fine. Just don't be surprised when the poo is off color.

I love crayon poopies! So colorful! It's nothing to worry about. Non-toxic and all that fun stuff. Callie eats about a crayon a day. Told my little brother that if I find her chewing on one more crayon, I'm throwing them all out, but he still doesn't pick them up. No bad side-affects I can see unless eating crayons causes selective hearing. Drop it never does seem to work on those orange ones...

Isn't it wonderful how fascinated a dog owner becomes about poop? Hope it passes with flying colours! (Sorry, couldn't help myself) OK - maybe not "flying", but you get the idea |

I guess I won't worry then, lol. He'll be pooping pink! I'm usually nuts about picking up after my daughter. She leaves things laying around everywhere. Hubby must have given her crayons, and I didn't even notice.

Good news, he has pink bits in his poop this morning, lol. He's acting completely normal too.

We have a daycare, so the dogs end up finding crayons and eat them all the time! Just be prepared for rainbow poop

Lol. I wouldn't have never known if it came out. All is good though, he's been fine, eating, being a nut, and pooping normally. |
