Btw out of the dogs in your pack, which one would you say is the alpha dog?

Out of mine, that is hands down Cali...she is the queen, diva, and referee for all playing that goes on. But Sammy is not afraid to tell her whats up. He did with in a day or two and she doesn't talk to him anymore. CAli is very vocal dog towards the others in the pack.

I'm chiming in to say hello and drool over this HP conversation. My fiance wouldn't let me name out pup Severus, Malfoy or even Remus. I was so distraught. Haha. Anyways. Complete Harry Potter nerd over here who was just too excited not to stop by.

it would be awesome to have an Indiana meet up sometime! Most of the husky meets are in Iowa, or Wisconsin. I don't get to meet very many huskies around here!

Good news, Malfoy is home with me. :3 I asked the breeder why she would give her pups out at six weeks if it is illegal to do so in IN till 8. It is not, she informed me it is only illegal if I plan to take him across state lines. I can't take him out or bring other dogs in to IN under six weeks.

His first night home was great, he slept the entire car ride home and never cried. At home he was nothing shy of well behaved. Took very well to the crate that Kevin is letting me borrow. Also by the way I met Kevin and his pack. Gorgeous dogs. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, yet. Nor did he had any in the crate. Has ate really well, played a little bit, sleeps a lot. I gave him a bath because he had some poop/dirt in his leg fur. I am guessing he walked through it when he was out doing his business. And now as I type this he is cuddled up against me napping.

Hi there! I am in Louisville. I'm so glad we're getting more Kentuckians and Indianans.

I really don't know about you folk that live in those small states up east; seems as if anytime someone that's even reasonably close to ya comes on line, they're a state or two away.  
Now if you take Renee (please, take her!) and me, we're in the same state, but more than a few hundred miles apart.  Then you add in Houston and Dallas that are closer to 600+ miles away from either of us ... you can see why we're glad to get someone else from the Great State of TEXAS!!    While I am teasing about size a lot, the county I live in (Brewster county - 6,193²) is larger than Rhode Island (1,544²) and Delaware (2,488²) combined! and we're also larger than Connecticut (5,543.41²)

Oh, and a hearty "Howdy!!" to the both of you from the Lone Star State!!

It must be so nice, Al, to be able to drive for hundreds of miles and not have to leave the laws you know or the beer alcohol content you prefer behind because of something as silly as a state line. Hey there, I'm just a state over from KY. Welcome to the forum.
