Is this her first flea treatment or has it been ongoing? Have you washed/treated her bedding and wherever she frequents?

If you have a bad infestation, its possible to need to re-apply after a week or two. Also, Borax is supposed to be good for getting fleas out of carpets. Sprinkle it on, let it sit for a while and vacuum it up. A drop or two of lavender oil in a spraybottle full of water works for spraying on furniture and bedding.
You can also put a drop of the lavender oil on her collar and it is a natural repellent.

she sleeps in the backyard on the floor she refuses to sleep inside her dog home. This treatment has been on-going. I have washed the bed about two days ago but as i said he does not like to sleep there.

Have you sprayed your yard with and IGR (insect growth regulator)? Revolution kills the fleas when they take a blood meal, so they have to bite the dog to die, which causes itching. You need to treat the environment to have best results for the topical or oral flea products.

If your husky is an outside dog then washing the bed won't be enough. You'll need to treat your yard like stated above. Also have you given her a bath? Or just given the treatment and that's it?

A dawn bath will kill all fleas on site of your husky - but I would treat your yard as well. They will probably come back after the bath if you don't treat the yard.

If she is on heat her skin will be far more sensitive anyway. Its probably a coincidence, but do a standard skin check as a reaction may be possible. If it persists take her to your vets. also check the treatment was in date. Is her coat due to blow? as this could cause it to..

hope this helps....
