Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

got our first wolf exclaimation Empty
PostSubject: got our first wolf exclaimation   got our first wolf exclaimation EmptySun May 26, 2013 11:07 am

Bella and Jasper have been at my sisters since thursday because my brother and moms dog was sick and we didnt know if it was catching or not. There dog jumped through the window sometimes wednesday night and was galavanting the neighborhood and we think someone may have tried poisoning him or something, they havent had any reports of it but im pretty sure the dog went after someone while out and they are lucky i found him sitting on the porch before the kids around us were ready for school. He lubges are snarls at them on his tie out i dont want to know what he would do loose. But to be sure my sister took my two. She didnt know her boyfriend friend was coming over yesterday and i guess they didnt warn him before he came in that i had my dogs over. The guy walks in, all dogs are in their crates because we're eating, stops dead in his tracks and yells "holy shit whats that? That's a fucking wolf! When did you get wolves!" My sister was like no thats ally's dogs their not wolves their husky or husky mixes. John looked over at me and was like "that things huge no way its a husky its gotta be wolf" jasper is at least 27" at the shoulders and pretty long bellas just a few inches shorter and not as long and jas looks bigger in the crate i got for him cause its actually to small ( i say it is my mother says its fine, he cant stand with his head up in it he can lay ok he's a bit long but doesnt stretch out often, he'll have to go into a 48" when i can get him one) i tell him no their some sort of husky mix is my best guess we are thinking shepard because jaspers height and we have a friend who had shepards at one time and she sees shep in him. His next question is can i have one? Ummm not unless you want be as a premenant house guest. My sister burst out laughing and tells him shes my sister and wouldnt even give me one! Sorry i love my babies and im trying my hardest to keep them both. I told my sister not to worry she can claim them when we move in together, all the dogs can be house dogs, and we'll be adding a shepard eventually thats what her boyfriend wants now.
