Wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my Husky, Okami. She is an all white Husky with 2 blue eyes. She has a couple freckles on her nose, and I think she is starting to get a tiny bit of a brown hue to her white, but it isn't really noticeable unless you are really searching for it. Okami is 6 months old, her mamma is all white and daddy is white and brown (also he was a sled champ!). Her mom was a first time Mom, she was eating the puppies, luckily someone noticed before my Okami and her brother Sequoya were done for and were rescued. I am happy to have such a sweet and beautiful little girl. This is when I first got her at 6 weeks old. This is Okami with my Daughter this year for Easter. (2013) This is her at 6 months of age (current)

Okami is a ham lol! Yeah, white huskies are sort of rare... I had a hard time searching around for one, but when I heard Okami's story, and the fact that she was everything I was looking for physically, I fell in love with her. She is so smart as well, she learned how to do basic tricks and can still do them within the first couple of weeks of adopting her.

In the show world I'd say their amount is rather low and that there are few whites, as there are few piebalds, however I wouldn't consider it to be a rare coloring among husky owners. Okami is adorable, and welcome to the forum |

hmm I never have seen many white huskies, but I am sure they are pretty common as a pet, but yeah I must be thinking they are rare because of show business there is really never an iconic white husky lol.

Okami is a real cute and ham all in one.. Now as for white huskies being rare maybe not here there is one owner that has two and there are like 5 or more that go to the dog parks. lol
