thanks everyone! how do your pups like the water? i have been introducing her from a young age .... i feel its a great way to work out them little arms and legs of hers ... take them swimming for and hour or more and you will have one very tired pup through the evening :>

I didn't really take mine swimming. Cloud hates the water but Yuki loved the kiddy pool when she was a puppy and loves the creek now. I'm hoping to try out the beach sometime this summer. Link I got as an adult and he also loves water.

Maya and Kay love the water, i'm not sure if Kay will swim though. Sophie wants nothing to do with it but to drink. xD

In the next days I'll take Ulva to the beach. Last year that I 've tried she just wet her belly; no more than that by herself, though. I 've tried calling her while I'm inside the water and all she does is whine.

Thank you! and aww Sif did cry at first  so I took my hand under her chest and slowly led her in with me  to a deeper end  where I continued to hold her till she was no longer erratically paddling  but  paddling well  then i released her  grabbed a branch and had her follow it with her nose in the water   theres an image of sif learning she can swim

My pup hasn't swam in deep water yet but she played in a make shift kiddie pool for the first time yesterday:


She will swim in a big pool on July 2nd at her puppy class.

Anya is adorable! ...and what a fantastic pup class to have a big pool for dogs! that is a dream ... i live in north jersey near all these big beautiful lakes .... they have beaches but no dogs allowed ......It is such a huge bummer .. i do not have a pool in my yard so i usually walk down to the rivers and creeks but it is a steep muddy climb down with a dog on my shoulders LOL
