| Hello! My name is Ellie and I am a proud owner of a Husky-Rinnah. We adopted her through Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue-our second dog from them. She was due to be euthanized since she was heartworm positive and a stray. NLSDR contacted me to see if I would save her and foster her through her heartworm treatment and 6 week crate/bed rest while she recovered. We fell in love with her and adopted her. She is a great dog-lives with 3 other dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses and a goat! She has her AKC/CGC title and is training to compete in obedience, rally & agility! Our other dog Stryder-was a Norwegian Elkhound/Siberian Husky mix adopted from NLSDR as well. We lost him last month to cancer. Here is Rinnah: [img]  [/img] Here is a pic of Stryder: [img]  [/img] |

| Glad you found us here, Ellie! Nice to have someone active in obedience around. I'm too lazy for that stuff, heh. We toyed around with the idea of CGC on our dogs, but never really got started on it. Sorry to hear about Stryder, he was quite the handsome sled head.
Rinnah sure has some stunning brown eyes there. She hit the jackpot finding a home! _________________  |

| Welcome! Rinnah is absolutely stunning and she has gorgeous eyes! Its so awesome that you saved her Rescue dogs always show so much love and appreciation to their owners. Well 2 of my 3 rescue dogs do. My husky is 3 1/2 months and a bit of a brat but we are working on that LOL! I am sorry for your loss of Stryder! He was very handsome! Cancer sucks!  I love the name Stryder though! I am a big lord of the rings fan I look forward to seeing more pictures of Rinnah! I am actually trying to work with my lab mix Coal to get his CGC he is pretty close just working on a couple things and then find a tester! We really want to make him a therapy dog its one of my dreams to be able to visit the elderly and have my dog help out Welcome once again! |
