Yes, that is where Dizzy is from. Go to her website and go to the puppies for sale page and fill out an application. Tell her I recommended her (Jen from NYC) to you. I think she may have a litter due soon, but I can't say for sure. It's been a couple months since I've talked to her last.

Personally I would seek a breeder where I can meet both dam and sire. While there a lot of things I prefer in a breeder that aren't common I feel if I'm going to eventually make that plunge I want to be sure all aspects of what I want in a healthy puppy are checked.

Raised in a home setting, age appropriate socialization and desensitization, early stimulation, as well as the understanding of a limited vaccination upbringing.

It's best to find out what YOU want in a breeder and then go from there. Talk to people, talk to breeders, and share your thoughts. If they don't particularly meet what you are looking for many do provide reference to others who may.

Yup, the first time I looked for a Husky was last year on petfinder. I was such a novice then and I still am right now, but at least I have been able to arm myself with a bit of information thanks to you guys!

I actually contacted several breeders using that list, it's very informative and every breeder I've contacted on that list seems to be very good at what they do. Thanks for sharing!

Just a little update. I called my neighbors just now and they said that unfortunately they weren't able to find their dog's sister (she was actually the one who just had a litter, the breeder they got their dog from wont be having another litter for a while.) Anyways I also got some responses from wpskier's breeder and apparently they just tried to get the females... uh... you know. So she said if that works out then they'd have puppies ready to go around the Christmas season, which is a bit later than I would've preferred but it's not the end of the world either. I'm currently debating on weather or not I should fire off an email to Innisfree like several of you guys suggested, what do you think?
