OK, my Puppy Turbo is perfectly potty trained.. he ALWAYS goes to the door and whines when he needs out. but recently he has started to every once in a while just run down the hallway and go pee, I have no idea why he is doing this, sometimes he is getting petted, played with, or was asleep and then just got up. is there any reason as to why he might be doing this? he is 4 1/2 mounths old if the age matters. and also this time when i put him outside for peeing in the house, (he never did this the other times) he started full out shreiking, i thought he was being attacked but i looked outside and he was just digging a hole shreiking, then ran in a circle and dug anouther hole still shreiking, i know huskies dig, but why is he shrieking, please help as soon as possible im really worred about this, and the peeing thing is becoming a problem now.
Thanks

If I were you, I would go to a ver to make sure that he doesn't have a UTI or any other type of infection. Also, check his joints and move them around to see if he's in any type of pain.

Good luck!

Does he lift his leg? My pup had a brief regression of peeing in the house when he started marking. Peed inside twice, got corrected and hasn't done it since. They like to dig, and they like to talk, sounds like he's just having fun. As far as shrieking when you picked him up, it could have startled him and he was just being an overly dramatic husky puppy. UTI is also good advice, get that checked out for sure, maybe he's just talking to himself while digging/playing... Can you get a video?

no he does not lift his leg, and last time at the vet which was only about 2 weeks ago they said everything was fine and he did it before then to. the shriking was after i put him out, he was running around in circles and digging like he usually does, but he usually barks, he only shrieked like that one other time when his collar got caught on something. and how do you upload videos? like i said this was the only time he EVER shrieked from being corrected. never has before and i dont know if he will again. he usually just gives a light whine then lays down and pouts for an hour or so. we are getting a baby gate for the hallway but if he starts up in other rooms of the house i dont know what to do!

You can create a youtube account and then click the youtube link above the text area to embed the video. When he was at the vet, did they get a urine sample and test for bacteria? That's the only way to know for sure if he has a UTI or not. When our cat had one it was hell! If he is all clear, I would just start over completely with potty training, treat him like an 8 week old pup. I would crate him, or have him tethered to you at all times until he improves. As for the shrieking, huskies are odd characters and who knows, he may have just felt like doing it that day. Maybe he smelled something weird, or maybe it was the zoomies. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless he starts to do it all the time and it looks like he's in pain in some way. Dizzy did it once because he ate something weird (can't remember what) and he had a little piece of poo that wouldn't come off all the way. He totally flipped out until it came off.
