Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Its been an extremely long time since we've posted anything (you know how that thing called life gets in the way sometimes), but I just want to officially say we're back on ItsAHuskyThing :DMy husband Chase and I just got married August 24th and things are finally starting to slow down, so I'm going to be stalking the forum more often :DJust wanted to say hello!

Oh, and who else is dealing with a shedding husky at the moment? Akira has decided that she needs to shed her late summer coat to get ready to grow her early fall coat so she'll have enough time to shed that and start on her mid fall coat Very Happy Gota love her!

Hi! I'm a relative newbie compared to you, but welcome back. Smile My pup is shedding at the moment too, but not a full coat blow yet, I don't expect that until springtime given his age. I gave him a bath over the weekend and had tumbleweeds floating around after I dried him. My HVD sort of helps, but since I don't have outdoor space where I can use the dryer it just blows around our apartment. I had to do a double take the other day because I thought I saw a huge spider web (we don't have many spiders around), turns out it was husky hair. Either way welcome back and congrats on the wedding. Smile

You've probably posted more than I have even if I joined earlier, lol. I more lurked on the boards than posted on them, haha! We keep our dogs downstairs when we're not home and at nighttime with their crate open for them and whenever we go downstairs to get them in morn we're always greeted with tumbleweeds! I've often told people husky hair is just a part of my life now. That's funny you thought it was a spider, I thought I saw a mouse once and it was just Kira's hair, lol. I love the picture you have of your dog yawning (or talking, not sure which!) Thanks for the greetings & the congrats! Welcome to the board, too!
