Link is 11 months old, still waiting.  They're just mouthy, it's normal.  You have to be diligent with teaching them appropriate vs inappropriate uses of their mouth, it takes an extraordinary amount of patience and persistence.

I for one think it is critical to teach them both "yes" and "no."  So, play with him in a certain way and allow him to be mouthy.  Then, stop that, change posture or scenarios or whatever, and then when he's mouthy, correct him and proceed to ignore him.

They need an outlet because it is natural for them.  You just need to provide it in one case and then teach him that this is the only time he can be mouthy on humans.

Now, getting other humans to abide is the really difficult part, way more so than it is with your Husky.

But...if yours is less than 6 months old, then you shouldn't do ^ . They can't cognitively comprehend right from wrong in different contexts yet.  It is best to completely avoid playing or touching in such a way that will provoke the mouth.  He will do it enough on their own.

was he a rescue then? when pups are removed from their litter to young, before 8 weeks many can be very mouthy and never out grow it. but all puppies and young dogs are mouthy and you just need to stay on top of teaching them no.

Was he at least 8 weeks before he came to you? Or was it more like 6 weeks? Mothers and littermates teach a puppy proper social skills, hence the questions. Smile

There are a few good biting threads on here that have really good advice too. Smile

Here's a good one: Puppy Biting

I got him at 2 months old but I'm not sure he was with his mother and litter mates at the time and by the way his biting I'm pretty sure he was separated too soon , it's more like his attacking me then puppy biting its getting out of hand

Check out that thread I posted a link to - it's got some good suggestions on how to deter your dog from mouthing / biting.
