Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Oh man, the evil gremlin noise she made at 1:08 was amazing! And the "I don't want to" at 3:29 is like Youtube star making material, ha! This made our Saturday night, thank you Smile

With my own 15 month old, I COMPLETELY understand and sympathize with you.

Cheers.

Ha ha! The talking, snorting, biting and giving up are so funny. Dizzy does this too. I'm always wondering why he won't just do what he knows I want without putting on a big show. Can't say I don't love the improvised entertainment though! Awesome video. So cute!

Haha, Layla's been doing the, "But I don't wanna!" tantrum since she was about four months old, but only when it comes to rolling over. When I say "roll over" she'll bark and complain and do every other trick she knows except rolling over, lol. I love when Okami "pretends" to lay down by just laying her front half down and looking up like, "OK, I'm doing it; give me a treat now!" Smile

Usually it starts around 8 to 10 months or so and can go to around 18 months or maybe even longer.  affraid

I know she is a total brat! I love her to pieces though lol..... but yes evil gremlin noises are becoming a very common thing around here.

It does sound like she is saying I don't want to quite a bit.... or NO lol.

You should make a vid of Link being a stinker too Smile

Huskies usually enter the Teenage bratty stage at beginning anywhere from 1-2 years old, and it ends at about 4 years old ish. These are just estimates, but also based off of lots of reading and my own experience from being around one of my friends huskies a lot. He got her when she was 6 months old... she didn't stop being a brat when she went into teeny bopper stuff at age 1, until she was 4.
