Hi, Kody, our almost 4 month old puppy seems to get hiccups quite often. I think it might be after he drinks water because he drinks it very fast and then coughs a few times right after. The coughing I know is normal because my 4yr old female has done it all her life, but the hiccups?

zoey has been getting the hiccups almost twice a day. i think it's pretty normal. i never noticed embry have them more then a few times since we got him at 11 weeks.

HIccups are completely normal and generally puppies have hiccups a lot more frequently than adults. My adult sibe gets hiccups once every 2 or 3 months.

When we first got Koda at 7 months old he'd get hiccups quite frequently. Now he almost never gets them. It's definitely a puppy thing, but it's very normal
