My boy Kohdi was 7 lbs at 9 wks, Mishka was smaller (still is) but I'd have to look what she weighed at that age. When I brought Kohdi to the vet when I got him, he said Kohdi was *slightly* underweight but wasn't concerned about it.

yeah she was about 7lbs and the vet said she is good but then a lot of people tell me she looks a lot smaller like maybe 6weeks old

A lot of people have no idea what they're talking about! Within reason, trust your vet. Husky's come in all shapes, sizes and colours and the general populace have no idea what a Sibe should really look like, if they even really have any idea what one is.

From what I see in both pictures she looks fine. In the second picture her fur looks a little ragged but that can be many things - like she's been in the water behind her and has sorta dried out?

no she hasn't been in water only when i got her i took her a bath thats about it

I looked at both pics, I think mine were even smaller at that age. Both of mine have scrapbooks here and their puppy pics are at the beginning if you want to look...I'd post a few pics now but I'm on my iPad and it never cooperates, I know Mishka was definitely smaller

Looks pretty normal to me. Some people simply have no idea how big huskies are supposed to be. Even once she is full grown. I get told by people all the time mine is small for a full grown husky and she is top of breed standard. There are just idiots everywhere.

Welcome to the forum. What a pretty girl you have. I agree with the others she is a perfect size. Most people believe huskies are a large breed dog, but in reality and according to breed standard they are a medium size breed. she will have several growth spurts and at about 6-8 months of age you will ask yourself how did she get so big so fast, lol. Enjoy her small puppiness, it wont be around for long, haha.

aww thank you yeah a lot of people would be like omg is she a mini husky I'm like no she is a puppy husky then they will be like isn't she a little too small for her age lol but yeah I'm enjoying her puppiness for now she even sings with me in the car lol
