Koda is my (almost) ten month old husky. Quick sidenote, he is a little small for a husky his age, should I be worried about this, and or will he ever fill out or its this around his final size?

Koda is beautiful. Huskies are not a large breed so I'll bet he's within standard. And yes, he still has filling out to do, he's probly at, or near, his height, but filling out is still to come. Welcome to the forum! Smile

Oh my lord he is gorgeous! I agree with Jimmy he looks to have his height done, and will be filling out, may take upwards of 2-3 years of age. Do you know how tall and how much he weighs? Huskies are a medium sized breed, so typical weight on males standard is 55 pounds, though dependent on height may be more may be less.

Last time I measured him he was around 20 odd inches at the shoulder and I weighed him recently and he weighs in at around 46 pounds!

Lol, he is most definitely not a sable, but as for his size, I always want young dogs on the lean side while bones are growing. They shouldn't be building up muscle or weight until around 15 months. The breed standard calls for a male to fall into the range of 45-60lb.

Koda the Sable Husky Koda_210
Look again! He is most definitely a sable, in the back legs and behind the head, also when in the sun and looked at from the back side he looks to be about equal red to black and grey. Although he is definitely a high grey sable he is in fact a sable Smile And yeah Koda is very lean. I exercise him often, so he is very muscular and is evidet when he stretches.
