| Hi all! Happy Holidays! It fills me with joy to say that I am now the proud co-owner of a handsome Siberian Husky by the name of Axe. My girlfriend and I decided after 4 years of being together to get a dog... He is 3 months going on 4. We got him a couple of days ago, and we've started to get used to him. So far, here are the transitions we've done or are doing: -switching from Pedigree 1-2 years to Acana Puppy -harness to leash Potty training is... spotty. We haven't quite figured out his tells yet. We feed him 3 times a day, but so far he's only ever gone during the night, two times at the most. We also got him a crate, and he seems to be comfortable with it except when we have to leave him in it for a couple of hours. Is it too early to train him to sit or teach him basic commands? Thanks and more power to everyone! Axe (right) with his dad Titan (left) |

| Nice to see fellow Filipinos here. Bi-eyed huskies are so striking! We started teaching my Luna to sit for her food as soon as we got her at 8 weeks old. Gradually lengthened stays followed soon after. Axe will be fine |

It took me a couple of hours to get used to seeing different colored eyes, but now I love them! Gives him that much more character. I've been teaching him how to sit, and I think he's getting the hang of it. At first he would sit whenever I would call his name, but now he responds to the command. Hehehe. |

| welcome to the forums. beautiful fur babies. i stated teaching Leo all the basic commands as soon as he came home and to wait by the doors before being released outside to the backyard. thought it might come in handy if the front door was left open, so far when he was younger(under 4 months old) escaped out the front door 3 times lol went down the street to see the neighbors kids; hasn't escaped since. |

| My baby is 9 weeks old and he has bi eyes too! We're facing the same struggle! I got mine home on Friday and we do 10-15 minutes of training per day. He already knows sit and come pretty solidly. Also using potty time to get him used to a leash.
House training is going about the same for us. He's not doing terrible but not great either... It's so hard to figure out his cues, he'll start to pee mid walk.
Eta: I should have looked at dates

| For coat fish oil and vitamin E work well. Not sure what all specifically is available in the Philippines though. _________________ |

Thanks twister... for the vitamin e, since he's only a puppy (2 months), is 400 IU ok? I've seen different brands of fish oil... |
