2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! Hi boys and girls, I had google for some husky forum and I found this great site. I had 2 huskies, both are adopted.

My girl - Tiffy, 6 years +++, an overwight couch potato and laid back husky for her age.
Greetings, Im new here 02082009012

My Boy- Domdom, 3 years +++, a super hyperactive dog, always behaving like a puppy. He was abandon in the streets, had contact the owner based on the dog's microchip license, and owner refused to take him back. What's worse, he was debark. Its so sad to see a husky howl but without any sound.

We are in Singapore, which is summer all round the year, thus it's a pity that they do not get to experience any snows, however, Im so glad that they arent used for sledding.

Welcome and kudos to you for adopting! Smile Both dogs are beautiful and that is sad to hear Domdom was debarked. We have another member on here who also adopted a husky that was also debarked prior to their rescuing it. Glad to have you here!

WoW I really had no clue you could debark a dog- thatz crazy!! I don't agree with a lot of thing but I do understand why people choose to do stuff like... remove some animal's "stink" glands and declawing an indoor cat but a barking dog is just life!

On a side note both of your big babies are beautiful!!! Smile

I know they love to pull, what I mean is Im glad they arent used as sleding tools for making money. I have read horror stories on how huskies were abuse till death by those sledding companies.

I do bring them on rollerblade and where they have fun pulling me Cool

Just so you know that is a tiny portion of people who sled with their dogs. Most people care very dearly for their dogs.

Yep, dog sledding gets a bad rap because of a few bad apples, much like pit bulls as a breed. Our society buys in on the sensationalized media hook line and sinker.
