We weren't originally intending on getting a puppy. We had been looking into rescuing an adult sibe as after our Wisconsin trip we felt we could use some more dog power in front of the sled, and when we skijor it's better to skijor in pairs of 2. However after talking extensively about our pack dynamics and having little luck with rescue as far as a good fit and good with cats we decided we'd look into pups. As soon as I mentioned getting a pup to my mom in Michigan she said she knew of someone who had an unplanned litter when his male climbed over the 7 foot kennel fence seperating the male and female. Her lineage isn't fantastic but it's not horrible either from what I could make of it(I'm definitely no expert). There is an unnamed kennel up near where my mom lives that I wouldn't use if my life depended on it and she has none of that noname kennel in her as far as I could find, so here she is, 14 weeks old, Somethin' Sinister Stirrin' N Shiloh, AKA Shiloh. Still playing with that paper name, haven't counted the letters yet but that's what I like! A lot of people have said she looks agouti but her hairs have no banding. We're trying to figure out if she's wooly though. She's mainly a creamy blonde color with black guard hairs. All of the creamy stuff feels like undercoat, but it's as long as her guard hairs.

What a looker! she is a fur ball love the black on her ears. so when do you go get her? since you were looking to pair them up for your winter activities can you wait that long to hook her up since she is so young?

She's either going to be full out wooly or somewhere between regular coat and wooly. I love her reg. name that's so fitting!

And of course, she is gorgeous!

I have her now, picked her up yesterday. We'll be waiting until next winter to hook her up to anything heavy, she'll be a year then. When she's around 6 months we'll see how she feels about a harness and have her start pulling maybe a 3 or 4 pound weight to get used to dragging something behind her.

Aww, she's so beautiful! Congratulations on your newest addition! I agree with Kristina, she looks like she may be a wooly or an "in-between". Love her facial markings, such a cutie! Hope her colors and markings do not change much as she ages...ah what I am saying, she'll be adorable no matter what.
