| Love this forum! Just started it and I love all of the information, reading all the quirky things your huskies do, the pictures and all of the creative names! My wife, our little black Luca mutt, our husky Lars, and I live in a small mountain and forrest community about 10 minutes drive to Santa Cruz and about an hour to San Fran. Lars was found in Santa Cruz just kind of walking around. He was about 11 months old, had no training, and now is just an awesome guy! Luca was rescued from Tijuana when I was in San Diego for grad school. She is, absolutely, a momma's girl and follows her mom every, single, place, she goes! They are both colorblind and have accepted that they are, very literally, completely opposite in color. They are also quite different in SIZE and it is a good thing that our little Luca is so small (35 pounds) because she is quite feisty and we have to watch that she doesn't hurt big ole gulumphy Lars' feelings. I am a teacher and my wife is a marine biologist.

| Welcome to the forum! I read some of your other posts already and Lars seems A LOT like my boy, Kohdi. It's a most charming personality! They seem to be able to make anyone smile. Kohdi also gives the best hugs, like your Lars and is EXTREMELY vocal. He makes me smile the second I wake up in the morning, haha. |

| Hello everyone!
Me and my wife picked up our little husky 3 days ago and instantly fell in love. I have always dreamed of owning a husky and to finally have our little boy Axel is amazing. I’ve tried reading some of the forums in regards to potty training and realized that these dogs are incredibly intelligent. I made the mistake of disciplining the dog when he went to the restroom in the house and now I have a hide and poop/pee kind of dog. I just loaded him up on chicken broth water and have been sitting outside for 30 minutes to no avail. I feel as if he is scared to use the restroom in front of me. Granted it’s only been 3 days and patience is a virtue with this breed. Wish me luck as we we endure and enjoy this fun life with our little boy. |

| Welcome Atlasheld and AxelMiller! Congrats on the pups and fun.
AxelMiller search the forum for some potty training tips. Definitely make it a over the top party when you have success and ignore it as it was probably your fault if not (heehee).
Good luck to all! |

| They will remain blue but the hue of blue will change. Most of them will become less intense or turn greyish as they get older. _________________ |
