Has anyone ever heard of these brands or used them?
Sorry if this was previously mentioned there are just so many post on feeding to look through....but my local pet store gave me samples and was raving about them but cautious, Aurora is picky and gets gas easily from certain brands.
Thanks

I looked up Enhance and their ingredient list.

The ingredient list for their working dog formula:

Pork Meal, Whole Wheat, Whole Grain Corn, Rice Bran, Poultry Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols, a source of vitamin E), Corn Gluten Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Natural Flavor, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Zinc Proteinate, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Niacin, Biotin, Sodium Selenite, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Ethylenediamine Dihydroiodide (source of iodine), Folic Acid, Cobalt Carbonate.

Ingredient List for their formula when you're not working your dog as much:

Poultry By-Product Meal, Brown Rice, Whole Wheat, Rice Bran, Poultry Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols, a source of vitamin E), Brewers Rice, Dried Beet Pulp, Flaxseed, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Natural Flavor, Choline Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Zinc Proteinate, Vitamin E Supplement, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Niacin, Biotin, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Sodium Selenite, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of Vitamin K activity), Ethylenediamine Dihydroiodide (source of iodine), Cobalt Carbonate, Folic Acid.

I don't like that the protein source is 'by-product meal' and that it has wheat and brewer's rice. Some dogs cannot process rice, my girl, Ginger, being one of them.

I also saw their professional formula, if you're competing, has other fillers in it, like corn.

You have other options that have more protein in it and less fillers, or healthier fillers than what Enhance has in theirs.

If those were the only 2 options, I'd choose Acana over Enhance. But that's just me. Acana is manufactured by Champion Pet Foods, the same company that makes Orijen, which I've had big success on with Ginger.

Check this website for reviews and dog food analysis. Ultimately, what you chose to feed your dog is up to you, what's available to you in your local pet food store, and your price point.

You can also check this website for dog food at a discount. If you use BARK10 as the coupon code at check out at Natural K9 Supplies, shipping is minimum, and it still comes out cheaper than if you bought at a retail pet food store - at least for me it is.

Thanks for the help and advice! I wasn't sure if the people at the pet store were just trying to make a sale or actually help me. Ive been feeding her Blue Buffalo puppy, but she turns her nose up often and sometimes wont eat at all for a meal or two at a time. So I am looking to switch to something else.

If she gets bored with her food often, maybe you can find one or 2 other foods that she'll like and rotate or mix?

I feed Acana, Orijen, and TOTW. I really like the company who makes Acana and Orijen. I'd go with Acana for sure.

I looked at the TOTW website and they don't specify a puppy product do they have one?

I wouldn't even consider Enhance. Acana is fantastic and an excellent choice. As has been suggested, rotating foods can help keep her interested in it. You'd probably get bored eating the same food day in and day out too if you had to. Not only does rotating foods keep your dog interested but it also has some health benefits as well. Sticking with one food too long can increase the likelihood of your dog developing food allergies. And no dog food however good is really 100% complete despite what you read on the label. Yeah "complete" foods meet AAFCO standards for providing everything your dog needs to survive, however a rotational and well balanced diet along with supplements will help fill in the gaps. There is no one best food so it is very beneficial from several aspects to rotate between several good foods on a regular basis.

All of TOTW's formulas are ALS (All Life Stages) so they are perfectly fine to feed from puppyhood to adulthood.
