| It hasnt hit here yet but it will come with tourist season. My hubby wanted to buy a years worth of canned food, but a chest freezer and half a wagyu would be better but i dont think it will come down to that. And its spring and wildlife is moving from winter areas and i almost hit a bighorn sheep. The semi tame fox that sort of lives in my yard in spring showed up a few days ago, and baby bison are the cutest things ever. So shadow is the German shepherd splinter is red and in a coat and spider |

| Try as i might i havent figured out high altitude baking. Even regular cooking is off but baking boggles me. That bread looks good
So i discovered if you cut basil about 2 inches from the dirt they regrow. I found the perfect frame for a 3 season greenhouse it unfortunately involves talking to the neighbors and having them ask thier landlord if i can take the old swing set.

| I only baked in a ordinary fan oven, it was lovely. That’s good to know I will have to try that and I’m still figuring out my gardening didn’t think it could be so complicated |

| Its fun watching things grow. I have cilantro, onion chives, garlic chives basil and bunching onions. I also have 1 banana hood seed.
Banana hood is the only strain of weed i would bother growing. Its the 4th seed ive found in the last year. The first 3 did not sprout.
And then there is the anti-garden over the septic system. O may pull it up and replant it. Basically its weeds, but weeds the bees and the hummingbirds love. Im just thinking more variation to the anti-garden. |

| Other then potatoes, outdoor fruits and vegetables are out. Climate and grow season is wrong. Even with an outdoor greenhouse its still not easy. Last year i had crazy tomato vines that took over the area then tried taking over the kitchen. Im not kidding about tomato vines growing up and over the fridge. When i cut them down the biggest vine was 16 feet long.
So i am looking at dwarf trees that can grow indoors. Thinking mini banana and maybe star fruit, and thimble berries. The berries can be outside but first i have to find a bush and take cuttings and from there im not sure if i should graft it or try to root it. |

| Schwartzenbeeren Is a good container fruit. Also called German blackberries. Look like a black currant, taste like a blueberry/blackberry cross. Grow from seed each year so nothing you have to over winter. Can can and freeze like any other berry. _________________ |

| I love black currants. Havent seen fresh ones since Baltimore. I have a south facing slope which is prime berry real estate. My cleaning lady's foster sons have been helping getting the yard clear. I have red currants in the yard and bear berries. The birds always beat me to the currants.
My indoor stuff can be whatever but i like going native with my outdoor stuff
