I have a local husky friend that I met through a Facebook snow dog group. She's a mom of 3, has a husky and a golden retriever, is building a tiny farm with poultry and heritage pigs. And pregnant with 4th child. This is her story, in her own words, from yesterday:
"So this was a labor for the books! Welcome (baby boy)! Born accidentally at home in my tub before the emergency ambulance could come. Drew helped me marvelously. It was very fast and unexpected and I had just come home from feeding animals, putting up 5 t-posts and picking up 11 produce buckets for my pigs. Really thankful God helped me be level-headed and us both to know what to do! (And that it all went well!)"
I removed the name for privacy.
A sweet story in an otherwise bleak news time. Baby is beautiful.
