| Bodhi picked up a rock in his left paw on a walk. He started to limp. Of course, he wouldn't let me get the rock out until I got home and added two more hands to hold him down. Then he started to limp on the other side. I thought it was overcompensation and it would pass. This AM, the limp was worse, so off to the vet we went. The vet discovered a cut in his right paw. Now he's looking at three days of taking it easy, walking in a booty, antibiotics and epsom bath soaks of the offending paw. Ever tried to soak a husky's paw for ten minutes? Ha-ha-ha. |

| I wonder how long you could get him to sit still with soaking the paw if you have a popsicle or something for him to lick at? _________________ |

Well. I'd say that two out of three isn't bad. er, that's really three out of four, isn't it? _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| I *never* liked to see my mother coming at me with a wash cloth, meant that she was serious about washing behind my ears!!! And she could be *rough*!!

| Hi Michael,
I sure hope Bodhi heals quickly. I went through a heck of an ordeal when Cayenne was younger and got her toes stuck together with pine tree sap. The vet had to cut the toes apart and an infection resulted. She had antibiotics, soaks, wraps, a boot, airing out time... It seemed like it would never heal until I took her for cold laser therapy. It was miraculous! One treatment made a huge difference, but we went for three treatments to be sure she was fully healed. I know lasers might sound like nonsense, but the results are the proof. Good luck. |

| Thanks all! He's getting better. Did a 2.5 mile walk today with bootie on the affected paw. No limping. |
