Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| This morning Koda had some eye boogers that were crusty and green instead of the normal stringy opaque, gray boogers. I checked the eye and it didn't seem to be bloodshot or irritated, so I called the vet to be sure it was okay to wait until Koda went in for his shot in a couple of days, or if there were anything over-the-counter that I could get, since we are not in the area at the moment. They told me that there was nothing over-the-counter since they weren't sure what the cause was, but as long as the eye did not look scratched (or had a white spot in it) and it wasn't irritated or bloodshot, that we could use a cloth with warm water to clean it out a couple of times a day and he was fine to wait until Thursday for his appointment. I just thought I would share this in case someone else has this problem, or in case someone has another cleansing method or home-made remedy that they could share? I'll update on Thursday after his appointment _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| Jacks were gooey and green/yellow it was a eye allergy and the vet gave us eye drops to put in and he was fine to be honest we let it go for a few weeks cause we did not think it was bad since when we adopted him he had them and the lady never told us to have it looked at. I’m sure he will be fine till the vet check. Maybe it is the season change getting to him Sierra has been sneezing a ton lately and it is not just one she has like a fit of 5 sneezed back to back and if im sitting next to her I end up with wet nose snot on me. |
