Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Hey all-- My pet sitter knows that I'm involved with huskies. She was involved in the rescue of 300 animals from the Gloversville, NY Animal Shelter after the ASPCA raid. Of the 100 dogs rescued, two of them were huskies. She sent me this email with pictures and asked me to post them on the forum. If you or anyone knows of someone who is interested, please contact the shelter. My pet sitter's name is Kristi LaValley and she's the one who asked me to post this - Quote :
- Hi, Tori -
Attached are the Huskies I told you about. Estherville pulled them today from Kelly's Haven in Gloversville, NY -- the Shelter was raided by the ASPCA. Like I said, I am trying to find out what their names are and any other information about them. This is what I do know right now:
Red/White Husky Female Approx. 5 years old Spayed & up-to-date on shots
Black/Brown Husky Male "Adult" -- I'm guessing around 4 or 5 Neutered & up-to-date on shots
Even though we've been told that they are up-to-date on all shots, they cannot be adopted out until we obtain their vaccination records; if the records are not supplied to us then we will need to get them fully vetted before they can be adopted out. They are both a little shy (esp the male) at first but warm up quickly. They are both gorgeous and I'm sure will be adopted in no time; however, if you can post them on your site, as well as send their info around to anyone you think might be interested I'd appreciate it. This is where they are right now:
Estherville Animal Shelter 100 Russell Road Greenfield Center, NY 518-893-7451
I will forward any additional information to you as it comes in :-)
Thank you!!! Kristi
P.S. Give kisses to Hailey & Koda for me!! Here's a link to the news article: http://www.cbs6albany.com/news/gloversville-1286713-facing-owner.html _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| This is going off topic a bit, but is there a thread on this site for people willing to help a rescue dog arrive to people who have arranged to adopt them? Idk if this info is useful to anyone on here, but I live in RI and my schedule is pretty flexible. With a little notice, I am willing to help w driving through CT, RI, MA, most of NH and very southern ME. If there is somewhere on this site that I should be posting this, please let me know. Thank you, and thank you for posting about these two. I hope to hear that they've found new homes soon. |

| Another email from Kristi: - Quote :
- Hi there. I received some additional information on the Huskies.
They are "brother and sister" and were surrendered to Kelly's Haven because the child in the home was deathly allergic. The pups names are:
Male: TOBY Female: EMMA
They are both AKC Registered. The Sheriff's Department has their AKC paperwork.
Will keep the info coming as I get it.
Thanks! Kristi _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |
