Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Hello,
My name is Brad and i'm the "bf" of Jill (I<3Neo).... Anyway, i wanted to introduce myself and say that i have already learned a ton about the Husky. NEO is our first Husky, and is the first one that i have ever been close too. I have always thought they were beautiful and intelligent, but was never close to one.
Neo has come to us as a "semi-rescue". I have to admit i was a little hesitant, but it took all of about 2 days for me to fall head over heels for him. He is such the perfect boy for our little family, and i believe he feels the same way. I started doing thorough research the first evening that he was at our home and was amazed at the actual popularity of the breed. (keep in mind i had never really even seen one in person, in all of my life).
Neo has been here about a week and a half now, and loves to exercise with his new daddy and mommy, have his belly rubbed, and cuddle with my feet at the bottom of the bed. To my surprise he has acted the perfect gentleman, given his home switching circumstances. I look forward to our long life ahead as bff's, lol!!!!!!

| Welcome, he's gorgeous! Looks like he's in good shape and that the previous owner took good care of him. Definitely hang around here, the folks here know alot about huskies and have great advice! Sounds like you're doing all the right things with exercising him and giving him attention! Continue to reinforce and reward his good behavior! I tell our little ones that they're good dogs even when they're lying quietly beside me behaving themselves! He may start to test you once he gets settled in, but hold your ground and post on here for any advice. He'll be looking for you to continue to be his leader. Congrats! Looks like you guys found yourself an awesome new best friend! |
