Hello peeps Smile , my name is Julie , i am of mature years Laughing , but still pretty active !!, i wanted to find a friendly forum who would accept me and my little guy , Loki I love you , i hope it is okay to be here as my little lad is a husky mix, but defo leaning more to the 'husky side' Laughing , so am looking for a friendly forum that will accept us Wink , i recently lost my beloved furbaby and although i vowed never to get another dog i just couldn,t be without another dog so Loki choose us and has been a joy I love you , we had a pretty harrowing few weeks where i was tearing my hair out !! lol, but 4 months later i have the most adorable companion and we have bonded really well Smile , he is now 10 months old and doing great, we go biking together, building him up slowly as he is still a youngster, he loves everyone !!, human and dogs Smile , so would just like to say hi from us and look forward to getting to know you all Smile x

Hi there Smile , thankyou for the welcome, Loki is a husky x innuit which is a malxhusky x gsd,, i got him at 7mths old, god yes !!! i am so careful with my babies exercise, i lost my last dog to HD/osteoarthritis, he was only 3yrs old Crying or Very sad , i knew he had problems when i got him but even after being told by my vet he wouldn,t mke 15 months old Crying or Very sad it was still so shocking and devasting to lose him at 3 yrs , don,t think i will ever get over it, but little Loki has helped so much to ease the grief Smile , we have a nearby park where we go, 5 mins away, we walk there so he can do his pees and poo's on the way, if threre are no dogs to play with we ride along the bike path and back again about 10mins, i,m a definate followerer of the 5 min rule per month !! xx

Welcome! Loki sure is handsome! I don't think he has any northern inuit dog in him though(and it'd be crazy to see that since NID are so hard to find!), they have very distinct features and all I see is husky, I'd expect the GSD straits of the NID to stick out way more. Do you have other photos to compare? I wanted to get a NID so bad but finding a breeder is crazy hard.
