We did this last year and it was a blast, the back of my door was covered in cute huskiness!
I know i have holiday pics next week and that means card ordering so i guess we should get on this as well so we all know how many cards we need Smile

If you want to be a part of the card exchange please send me a PM with HCE in the tile so i do not mix it up with the SS people Very Happy whats great about this is all it cost is a stamp and a card and you will put smiles on a ton of faces!

How it works- i collect everyone's addresses and make a list. i then send everyone a PM with the finished list and you just mail them a Holiday card, it does not need to be a photo card, but it would be nice to have a pic of your pups included if you do not do a photo card

I will collect addresses till NOV 18, i will get the list to you by the 21, so you all have about a month to send them out.

if you have any questions just ask Smile

Sierra and Jack love just about everything.

Likes-rawhides, squeaky toys (never last long but still fun), natural bones, natural treats, always up for something new

Dislikes- Kongs, anything rubber, nothing with things hanging from it like fabric that is easy to pull off (sierra will eat it)
happy shopping

Umm, shouldn't this be in Secret Santa and not the Card Exchange thread?

For once I stuck my nose into the activity of the card exchange. I enjoyed the heck out of it in fact still have the cards from last year in my office.

Jenn, PM is on the way.

I felt a little weird and a little lazy buying cards online, but these are excellent-quality and quite lovely. They come in a very nice, high-quality box as well.

I was just wondering how many people signed up last year for the cards and secret santa?
I am looking to get my Christmas cards and was wandering an estimate of how many more I may need to get. Any idea would be appreciated.
Thank you

We had maybe 6 members sign up for it last year. With the response already I think we'll do better this year lets hope for at least a dozen. If possible do it the easy way have a good picture to use then order the cards online from one of the national pharmacies, (Rite-Aid, Walgreens, CVS etc.) they'll have then ready in less then a day.

Was stiffed by only one person. silent

This should be fun too! Sending you another PM now Jen. We made our own xmas cards through Walgreens last year also.

Super cute, but didn't have much time to take pics so putting a bit more effort into it this year Smile

For those that weren't here last year this was the one we sent out. Gawd I just love this photo of Biko & Adobo. For the fact that Biko stayed still and that if I was a Husky I would have fallen in love upon seeing Adobo.

This year I'll remember to take off their collars first.

We did them last year (not through here) and only like 5 out of 20 made it to their destination. I was so pissed!

I've never done cards before, it was never a big thing in my family. But this seems like fun. Very Happy I think I'll give it a shot with you guys.

My first Christmas doing cards and its because of huskies. I dont know if this is pathetic or awesome. lol

When I get to work and add all the address from the weekend I will give u a rought count, have not checked my pms cause I don't want to lose track of the ones I saved already. We have our friend who does pics on the side take our pics and I have found costco to have great card prices and will do same day on them!

Karen- its super cool to do husky cards, my one friend told me she would rather look at our card then the ones fulled with kids!

Any of the big photo sites will do them. We've had really good luck with Vistaprint for our save the date cards for our wedding. They were very reasonably priced and the shipping was amazingly fast.
